Natalie Weiss

In October, 2007, Natalie performed in the ensemble of Les Miserables at North Shore Music Theatre, but the new year proved to be the highlight of her life. In January 2008, Natalie debuted in New York City to great acclaim in Scott Alan's CD release concert at the renowned jazz club, Birdland. She was excited and nervous since she was called in to replace Eden Espinosa and Carly Jibson and would be sharing the stage with some of her idols with less than two days' notice!

Scott had never actually seen Natalie perform live; he'd only seen her videos on YouTube. Some people thought he was crazy for choosing an unknown, but Natalie rose to the occasion, and once again, videos were posted on YouTube. Natalie began receiving so much reaction to the videos that her Facebook account was temporarily shut down for "excessive amounts of messaging"! In addition to turning her into a Facebook outlaw, the Scott Alan concert led to other opportunities: Natalie was asked to join the reading of the new musical, Ever After, and to do several demo recordings for new composers. Two weeks later, Natalie again made an impact on the New York theatre scene when she performed at the Monday Nights, New Voices concert at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre.

Natalie is looking forward to the next step in her musical journey. Who knows where the road will lead? Wherever it takes her, Natalie will always have the love and support of her family, friends, and fans to carry her along the way.
