Anthony Johnson

Anthony recently relocated to New York City by way of Osaka, Japan, where he spent 2006 and 2007 singing Bon Jovi's "One Wild Night" five days a week dressed as a werewolf at Universal Studios Japan.

It was in Japan where Anthony became obsessed with making YouTube videos. He was secretly hoping Justin Timberlake would discover him online and make him an instantly famous pop sensation like Esmee Denters. But with no such luck, Anthony instead found himself a contestant in the siteforrent.com "Who Wants to Be in RENT?" Audition Contest - which he won. Unfortunately, the producers of RENT decided to end the show's run not long after Anthony claimed his prize - an audition with Telsey Casting. SOOOOO no such luck there. But Anthony thinks it's a great story.

Originally from North Carolina, Anthony graduated from Catawba College in 2005 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Before moving to Japan, Anthony worked for various theaters in Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Now that Anthony is in New York, he has no clue what's going to happen with his life, but he's looking forward to seeing where the future takes him. And in the meantime, Anthony will continue to babble on YouTube and sing musical theatre songs - especially girl songs. :-)
